Juniper Emnett

Juniper joined our team as a recent graduate of the inaugural class of Montana Code School, ready to put her recent immersive training to work as a full stack PHP Developer at Wisetail.  Her career path began in Economics and English Literature at Montana State University, before moving on to operations and quality control at a local backpack company. She brings a great deal of experience in documentation and compliance to our Dev team, and, as a self-proclaimed “data nerd”, is psyched to dig deeper into refining our internal coding standards and contribute to the creation of tools to provide valuable reporting directly to our clients. She brings a unique, nearly tactile approach to coding as she describes the creation of a new client requested feature as an act of “making.”

As a 5th generation Montanan she loves to travel around the country and the world, but always ends up back here because it’s home. Her passions outside of work include her corgi Ein (aka her “fuzzy child”), playing roller derby (her alter ego’s name is Doomsday D. Vice) and 70’s Honda motorcycles. Her perfect day involves a hike, dinner at one of Bozeman’s many amazing local restaurants, and watching Star Trek with her husband while sipping scotch.
