Brent Northcutt

Brent is a key member of the Wisetail team not just for his rad database skills, but also because every so often he shares fine whiskeys with those curious to try.

Brent had a bit of a non-traditional introduction to the computer science world. He used the GI Bill—earned after serving several years as a radio operator in the military—to get an associates in applied sciences degree in computer science, with an emphasis in programming. From there, Brent worked his way out West, first with an internet service provider in Missouri, then out to Bozeman.

Outside of the office, you’re likely to find Brent working the barbecue, building gunpla models, or enjoying a fine whiskey. Or, just as likely, Brent could be out and about hiking, fly fishing, or hitting the hot springs. He still harbors a passion for radio too, moonlighting as a dj at the local college radio station, KGLT.
